The Void
This is a lil coding project I felt like doing inspired by the explore system on this site. It's a game I've got running on github pages.
You can play it as much as you like, and there is no cost. I'm sharing it here because I thought it might be fun. At present, there aren't a lot of encounter texts, but I'm working on it steadily. The game keeps track of the number of steps you take as you go further, but be careful not to refresh the page or you'll lose your place.
I'm not entirely sure where I'll take this yet, but I'm thinking of making a full narrative out of it if I can find the right pictures. For now, it's mostly a story of the player entering a forest and what they encounter as they venture deeper. Here is the link to the game:

If you have any suggestions for what the player might encounter or any other things you'd like to see, I'd love to hear them! The theme is ominous with Halloween coming around the corner, but I won't be adding anything graphic or violent bc I don't wanna lol. Only a deep sense of dread is gonna be happening here 
Also, this will not include any spider-related encounters. |
