The GMO cow stands out as one of the most intriguing breeding materials available in Lioden, as it boasts the highest chance of producing mutations compared to all other breeding items currently in the game. While it’s important to note that using a GMO cow does not guarantee a mutation with 100% certainty, its odds are significantly better than those of most other breeding options.

Lion meat gives you a fair chance of getting a mutation. They are easy to get and still give a good effect. Once again this breeding item does not guarantee a mutation but it still gives you a fair chance.

Cotton root bark is a unique breeding item that enhances the chances of producing a normal mutation in your offspring. In addition to this benefit, it also slightly increases the likelihood of generating a deadly mutation, adding an intriguing layer to your breeding efforts. While the boost in probability isn’t substantial, it can still be a worthwhile option to consider in your breeding strategy.

The Lion Scrotum is a powerful breeding item that can be used on a mutated lioness to give her cubs a 25% chance per cub of inheriting her mutation, though this chance drops to 5% if the lioness is a (DU). This effect only triggers if the cubs don’t have any additional mutation requirements.

Upon using the Crunchy Worm, a lioness's next breeding will have a 25% chance to duplicate her appearance onto one cub from the litter. This means you can pass on her specific traits, colors, and patterns to her offspring, making it a great tool for creating visually appealing cubs. However, it’s important to note that the Crunchy Worm will not affect mutations in any way, so it won’t replicate any mutated features.

The Gnawrock is a valuable breeding item that allows you to customize your lion’s offspring in a unique way. When you give it to your chosen lion or stud, their next litter will inherit one specific marking of your choice. The offspring will receive this marking in the same slot and with the same opacity as the parent, allowing you to create cubs that closely resemble your desired traits.

The Salt Lick covered with ochre dust is an intriguing breeding item that allows you to influence the appearance of your lion's offspring. When given to your chosen lion or stud, it ensures that their next litter will inherit both the mane shape and mane color from the parent you selected. This means you can create cubs with a specific look, enhancing your pride's visual appeal.

The Pennyroyal is a special breeding item that can significantly enhance your breeding strategy. When used on your king or stud, it boosts the chances of a mutation variation for their next immediate litter. This can lead to some exciting and unique traits in the cubs!

It’s important to note that the Pennyroyal works for only one breeding at a time and can currently only be given to Primals. Additionally, if both parents are Ferus, this item increases the likelihood of producing a Ferus cub, making it a great choice for players aiming to create specific mutations or breed Ferus lions.

Give this to a non-mutated lioness, then breed her at night in order to invoke the primal spirits. One cub from her next litter will become a Ferus beast, sworn by the spirits to hunt down any human outlaws that dare to murder the sacred African wildlife.

The Buffalo Scrot is an essential breeding item for players looking to maximize their cub production. When you use it on your main male, it guarantees a minimum of three cubs in his next immediate breeding.

The Grain of Paradise is a valuable breeding item that helps boost your cub production in Lioden. When used on your main male, it guarantees a minimum of two cubs in his next immediate breeding.

Use this item to shorten a chosen lioness's breeding cooldown by one day per bark. It cannot be used on pregnant or nursing lionesses.

This item will age your lioness by 1 day! It will help bypassing cooldowns but it will also cut short the hunting time and her life!

This amazing stallion will make your female burst her ovaries in awe of the shiny looks and yummy taste! Once used, she will become pregnant next breeding ignoring fertility! This cannot be used on infertile lionesses.

Give this mineral to your chosen lion/stud to make their next litter inherit the skin colour from the parent you chose.

Give this mineral to your chosen lion/stud to make their next litter inherit the eye colour from the parent you chose.

Item Interactions: Be cautious when using breeding items, as some can negate the effects of others. For example, if you use a GMO Cow and then apply a Cotton Root Bark (CRB), the CRB will cause your lioness to miscarry the litter that was intended to benefit from the GMO Cow, losing all potential mutations.

Passable Mutations and Pass Rates
The following mutations are currently the only ones that can be passed down in the game:

Leopon: First-generation leopons have a 10% chance to pass their mutation, while subsequent generations have a 5% pass rate.

Tigon: Similar to leopons, first-generation tigons have a 10% pass rate, with later generations at 5%.

Piebald/Patches: These mutations can be inherited from both male and female parents and have an estimated 5% pass rate. Note that piebalds and patches cannot be acquired randomly; they must come from a Piebald or Patches Mutie On Demand or from a parent with these traits. A Piebald or Patches can only pass the specific variant they have.

Primal: Normal Primal kings have a 5% chance to pass their mutation. This mutation cannot occur randomly and requires either a Mutie On Demand: Primal (only applicable to male lions) or a Primal father.

Overgrown Fur: Female OG Fur lions can pass their mutation to female cubs with a 5% pass rate. Check all cubs from an OG Fur mother using the Falcon Eye, as this mutation cannot be obtained randomly and requires either a MOD: OG Fur or an OG Fur mother. It cannot be passed to male cubs.

Primal (Smilus): This mutation can be bred from a Primal, Primal (Felis), or Primal (Smilus) father and can only be passed to male cubs. The pass rate is unknown but can be boosted with a Pennyroyal.

Primal (Felis): This can also be bred from a Primal, Primal (Smilus), or Primal (Felis) father and can be passed down to both male and female cubs. However, only males can transmit their mutation. The pass rate is unknown but can also be enhanced with a Pennyroyal. A Felis cannot produce a Smilus.

Primal (Ferus): This mutation can be inherited from a Ferus parent or bred when a Mukombero is used on a lioness before breeding. It cannot be passed by Primals, Felis, or Smilus lions and can only be produced from Ferus lions. This mutation can pass all Primal variations and receives a boost while battling primates in Explore. Pennyroyals are beneficial when breeding a Ferus female with a Ferus male.

Dorsal Fur: This mutation can be passed from both male and female lions. Breeding two Dorsal Fur lions together doubles the chance of producing offspring with this mutation. All Dorsal Fur lions will be born with a Crested mane type.

Special Mention Mutations
Double Uterus: This mutation doubles the litter size of a lioness. She can breed with two different studs, but the second stud’s genes will overwrite half of the other stud’s cubs. Regardless of the chosen studs, the litter size will always be doubled, allowing for a maximum of 8 cubs and a minimum of 2. You can use Buffalo Scrotums and Grains of Paradise to ensure more cubs! Be cautious when using items like GMO Cows or Ochre Gnawrock; it’s advisable not to use a second stud in these cases, as you’ll need another round of items for them to work on the second stud's cubs.

Primal Fangs: This fail mutation can be bred from male Primal, Primal (Felis), and Primal (Smilus) lions, as well as both male and female Primal (Ferus) parents. You can stud a Primal (Ferus) female to any stud, Primal or not, to potentially breed Primal Fangs cubs. This mutation does not pass naturally but may be transmitted with a Lion Scrotum at the standard rate of 25% per cub.

Mane Imperial: This mutation can only affect female lions with the Royal mane type. If you plan to pass this mutation using a Lion Scrotum, it’s highly recommended to also use an Ochre Saltlick to ensure the Royal mane is passed, along with a Great Tit to increase the chances of producing female cubs that may inherit the mutation.
