I didnt see this anywhere else so apologies if it’s already been suggested or rejected, etc.

But as it stands, the leaderboard records the best lion from each respective category- very simple, right?
However, with a karma leaderboard queen, and with my activity being fairly infrequent because of this, i have noticed that after long stretches of inactivity, your king/queen is completely taken off the leaderboard, no matter the category, until you log back in again. I am not sure why this is a feature and what its meant to prevent, but Id like to make a suggestion to remove this mechanic.

Leaderboards are meant to show the best of the best- not the best of whoever happens to be active at a given point within the game.
You shouldn’t have to be working toward top place of whatever category you want, but still be wondering if theres another user out there who has a score even higher, but you cant see them simply because they havent been active this past month.
I have a goal of highest karma of all time. There have been many times where I have seemingly reached first place, only to check my position at some point, and find the first place slot taken by users ive never seen before when they log back in again after some time away; and Im left with the fact that im not in first place in fact, but that there may be countless lions ahead of my score that im totally unaware of.
It’s an inaccurate reflection of the point of a leaderboard as it doesn't even show all the qualifying lions/players within a category- if that makes sense.

Some potential issues users may have with this-

Its unfair because someone could create a total beast within their category, go inactive, and the leaderboard now has a first place slot that cant be beat-

The entire point of a leaderboard is to challenge yourself and others. It’s meant to show off your drive and motivation. Having a first place slot locked with a frozen account is just incentive for others to challenge themselves to finally beat that score once and for all.
It’s also not like theres only one slot per category- theres 10. Even if your king/queen doesnt quite hit that first place threshold, you still have the prize of knowing your lead may be the second highest, or even still in the top 10.
On top of that, leaderboards only count living kings/queens. Even if this user has a lead that seems to be locked in the top slot, eventually their king will retire and the slot will open up again.
And to be honest, if even after all that, a lead has a slot that they refuse to be shaken out of, well at that point; their player totally deserves that spot since once again thats just a testament to someone’s shear willpower to accomplish that…

I may even go so far as to suggest an all time leaderboard and a currently living leaderboard, just in the true name of competition, but as for now, all Im asking is for users to not be removed from it after a certain time of inactivity- since as I said before, its an inaccurate reflection of the actual stats as these lions are still alive, and these players most likely still active players of the game, albeit with sporadic log-ins.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk

No support. The leaderboard is meant to showcase the active leaders of the respective categories. After about a week of not rolling over the lion is removed to make way for the next active listing. How it's coded currently makes sense to me. Plus it being rotated based off of activity makes it easier to see the most recently rolled high stat kings instead of dealing with search. The rotation still encourages a healthy competition too. Even briefly being on the leaderboard can encourage a person to keep up the good work. It can give a small sense of accomplishment which alone can feed motivation.
