So. I have noticed if a person blocks you it only blocks one of your accounts because they don't know your other account. It some what irks me to switch to my side account and see someone in chat I couldn't see in chat before, hence I was blocked on my side. I think that if a person blocks you on one account it blocks both your side AND main. Vice versa as well. You block someone it blocks that account and their linked account. I honestly do not see a reason for this to not be added and why the hell is it not already added? I have received dms from someone I had blocked on one of their accounts unaware of their second account and had just simply blocked them when they dmed me why I blocked them. It's quite annoying may I say. EDIT; This is an optional feature. When blocking it should ask you if you'd like to IP block this player or only this player and their connected account. It will NOT whatsoever show the players up but the IP block is an option that can be chosen. |

this has happened to me personally too, realistically once you block someone, theyre blocked for a reason and you do not want to interact with the said user so them having the ability to contact you through another account is just a massive invasion of privacy to put it bluntly. 1 player likes this post! hmm yea i think the option to IP block could be an additional thing instead, in case people want more security. I was mostly thinking about what if they dont link their accounts, it might be harder for a block to cover them. But overall, most of us do link our accounts (eventually haha it took me months) so support regardless!! 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Truthfully, I'll block people a little generously on my main account, but I only block the people on my side I really don't want to interact with. I'm nosy sometimes and want to see what a blocked person is saying on forums, for example, so I'll switch accounts lol. But I'll give up my nosiness if it's required for a better blocking system, and we really do need one. On the flip side of what doctor strange said, I'd feel not great if someone who didn't want to interact with me for whatever reason saw me around because they didn't block my other account--although I don't exactly hide my linked accounts. I digress. It's the principle of the matter. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

EDIT!I have added onto this thread at the bottom as of 10/15! Adding an additional option to blocking to which it gives a option to.. 1. Block this player and their linked account. 2.
