So I have made a lion Reclaiming topic before over the price, however I'd like to make a seperate one over the time. Lion reclaiming has set times in when you can reclaim however, it counts whenever you are offline and haven't rolled over. So my suggestion is to perhaps only take days off whenever you rollover. So then you lose chances when you rollover and not when you haven't rolled over. If that doesn't make sense let me know, tried to explain best I could. |

I think its set up this way in case people choose not to return to the game; those lions are then deleted and not taking up server space which costs the game money. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I had my router die once not long after I rolled over. My heir had run. At the time, he was a felis worth well over 30 GB. My router did not get replaced for over 2 weeks. When I returned, I was *distraught* to find out that he was gone forever. This was a situation out of my hands, exacerbated by this seemingly arbitrary method of countdown. Nowhere else on the site had real life time been the metric of counting, and so I as a relatively newer player who hadn't yet combed the wiki a dozen times over, had no idea. Support. Support a thousand times over. This is such a severe oversight that can horrifically punish people who have situations similar to mine. 0 players like this post! Like? No support, many users would exploit this feature and store lions indefinitely, cluttering the server's space and slow down the website. The only changes that I could see be benificial to the reclaiming features are stated in this topic. Feel free to give it a read! 2 players like this post! Like? |

It's frustrating that QoL topics often get hit with 'users will abuse this' counter arguments. Users will abuse anything. People already have friends use their side accounts as freezers. You may as well disallow holding lions for other people if that's the concern TBH. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support. It could also be looked at as an endless freezer. As far as I've seen, there's no limit to how many lions can be reclaimed, and so can be an exploit of itself; why clog the servers with many lions stuck this way? 0 players like this post! Like? |

People just use their friends' side accounts as freezers, and users create side accounts specifically to freeze lions. What you're both describing has already been happening for years. The number of lions that would have to stay in "200 SB per reclaim" limbo enough to impact the servers would have to be significant, considering current numbers of lions. 0 players like this post! I agree with Yharnam, It's honestly already been like this and considering that they would have to freeze their account/not log in for the lions to stay there then it's basically just gonna stay a freezer account if it was already one, yk? 0 players like this post! Like? |
