Greetings all! This is small a guide to rabies, how to get it, and what to do if your lion gets infected. First off, Rabies is exclusive to the October Event. Your alignment doesn't matter: whether you've sided with heaven, hell, or Nirah, you will still have a chance of contracting rabies if you fight an infected creature. Rabies is automatically cured at the end of October and beginning of November. Rabies can be rarely contracted by either fighting a rabid NPC in explore, or by defending against another player's rabid king. The chances seem to be low, but they are not zero. Rabies has benefits! Rabies gives your lion a small strength boost in battles, but it adds up over time! Your lion may also encounter bizarre creatures, like a werelioness, werewolf, or a griffin! However, rabies also has drawbacks. While rabid, your king cannot eat, and their maximum energy caps off at 80 rather than 100. The text saying that you'll hurt your pride is just for flavor. In addition, only your king can be rabid: lionesses, submales, adolescents, and cubs are immune. If you ever decide that rabies is too much or interferes with your daily goals, you can cure it with a Devil's Claw, which costs 2 Blood Beetles (BB). Be aware that you will have to be infected all over again if you want to benefit. Ultimately, it is up to you whether you want to keep your rabies or cure it. It all depends on your playstyle. If you want BB or the extra strength, go for it! Just remember that your king will not eat until you cure him! 0 players like this post! Like?
