Hello all! Ever since the NCL claim screen was updated so we now have an indicator for when a lioness is chased, I realized something: A lot of the chased lionesses appeared to be regular generated NCLs that had been claimed and chased, and were not actually player bred. If it were a reasonable portion of the chased pool it'd be one thing, but I did an experiment. I made notes on 200 NCLs I came across and noted whether they were newly generated NCLs, chased but regular NCLs, or genuine player bred chased NCLs. I did this with my two kings who were both dreamboat impression at the time to have the highest odds of chased NCLs. Out of 200, 137 were regular NCLs, 50 were "chased" regular NCLs, and only 13 were actual player bred chased lionesses. This means about 79.3% of the pool of chased lionesses is just regular NCLs! It also means that with dreamboat impression roughly 31.5% of lionesses you claim SHOULD be chased, but instead its only about 6.5%, this is a HUGE difference. Now these could be slightly inaccurate, this is probably slightly different than the actual coded rates (I would guess it's supposed to be 70/30 NCLs/Chased), and player bred NCLs can appear like NCLs, but I did inspect element on any I didn't successfully claim to ensure they had only NCL markings/bases/eyes/skin, to try to ensure accuracy. But it is clear, regular NCLs are horribly clogging up the chased pool. So my suggestion is this: could it be changed so that these regular NCLs don't get added to the chased pool? Filter them out like older lions, or muties? I did consider maybe its an issue of not enough player bred lions get chased to "fill" the chased pool, though I kind of doubt it, so including the regular NCLs allows it to be filled to equal how many get claimed, but if thats the case I'd honestly rather that chased lionesses are more rare, but they're always genuine player bred chased, rather than them being more common, but most of them are regular NCLs that have been chased.
