Raine, a powerful seer, foresaw the destruction of the Elderlands, an oasis located in the worst reaches of the Land Beyond the Sun - A harsh northern Wasteland - and sought guidance from the gods. They granted her a vision of a distant land, untouched by the strife of her homeland. In the aftermath of the war, Raine gathered the few remaining survivors—among them, a Bloodborne and a Pathseeker . Together, they escaped the desolation and journeyed toward the promised land. Along the way others joined their cause, eventually branching off to form their own groups, Thus came the three main powers of the Isles. Sangnoma, Derne, and Triskele.

Current Lore
The assassination of the Derne Packs Leader and Sangnoma's beta wolf has brought upon a time of weakened peace and rising tension has been born. Suspicions still reigned high, and tensions still ran amok between them, heightened by the lurking presence of corruption-- whether interpersonal or within the very roots of the Isle itself.
This twist of unspoken rage and hidden intentions would perhaps be the forbearance of times of negative changes within The Isle. For these wolves were now fighting, and are capable of a massacre beyond comprehension, But with each of these groups focusing inward upon each other, it has left a lot to be said for what was now sneaking in-- or perhaps what was already lurking...
Though Raine's vision led them to this new land, whispers of conflict linger long after the founders of each pack and bloodline passed. Ancient rivalries between packs haven't fully faded, and new tensions are beginning to rise. As the packs expand their territories and grow in power, they find themselves once again at odds over resources, beliefs, and the balance of magic. . .
