It would be nice if our sub-male had the ability to mate with the lionesses in our group. It might even be nice to add a herb or a food item that can be obtained during exploration, and add the ability for the sub-male to mate with 2 of the females in the group by eating this food.
In this way the lower male can be a casanova at any time. Escape is provided. Just like the lions that live in the Serengeti
