A familiar feeling A lone lioness with a short, bobbed tail walked into an empty cave. Her paws made sure not to trample over the dried herbs. Something had drawn this lioness to this particular cave. A small, sinking feeling that she was meant to be here. As she pushed through the overgrown weeds a pungent smell hit her nose. It was the smell of rot She held her paw on her nose and continued traversing through the cave The smell was getting stronger and stronger the further she went in. Eventually she reached her destination, although the journey had greatly tired her out. In the middle of the barren cave was the body of a lone lioness, and an unfinished tonic. “I-is that me?” She took a step back at the uncanny resemblance of the lioness “You and I are one in the same, yet different in some aspects.” A voice whispered to her “I am me and you are you.” The lioness lept in fear, startled by the sudden appearance of the voice “W-who are you..?” She asked fearfully “I am me.” The voice repeated “I have a favor to ask of you.” The lioness took another step back “What do you want..?” The voice chuckled flatly “I have some unfinished business I need to tend to.” It continued “I need a vessel for me to finish my work.” “A vessel?..” The lioness’s every instinct was telling her to run as far away as she possibly could. “I’ve finally found you, the perfect vessel.” The lioness felt a sharp pain fill her head as her body and spirit were separated into two. “Thank you for lending me your body, your sacrifice is greatly appreciated.” It’s voice rang out from her own body. “Oh, I do believe introductions are necessary.” It chuckled darkly “You may call me.. Ismay..” ‘The Shaman of Medicine.” She said, having finally found a worthy body for her to continue on with her work… 1 player likes this post! Like? |
