Looking around the room, she focuses on all of her ex-family members. She stood, done dealing with the negativity and drama, not wanting to be there in the first place. Emotions she will have to deal with again. Not willing to let her peace be messed up by people who aren't even her family anymore. As she gets up to leave, she sees that Danny is watching her every move. She feels sad for him. She knows he cares a lot about the family get-togethers. Half of the people in the room don't even want anything to do with each other. They are putting the blame on each other even when the blame isn't theirs to take. She sighs and goes over to him. As she walks over to him, she thinks about how unfair everything is but knows that she can't change anything. People have to put aside their differences and make the best of what they already have. Because life is too short to not make the best of what they have. When she finally gets over to Danny, she sees that he is leaning against the wall just watching everything. "Hi Danny." Danny looks around the room filled with family members and ex-family members and sighs. He remembers when it wasn't like this at get-togethers, where everyone joined in with the games and helped cook and just enjoyed each other's company. But now not everyone gets along, and it causes everyone to fight, or, in that case, not talk to anybody at all, or leave early so that they don't have to deal with each other, and they don't even want to join in the games or cook or just be together enjoying spending time together. He misses it, then sees Alexandra, who used to enjoy the get-togethers, looks so tired, and she gets up and starts to walk to the door, but then sees him and redirects to where she is heading and heads over to him. Once she gets over to him, she says, "Hi." He looks at her and smiles, "Hi, Alexa how are you doing it's been a while since I last saw you." He said as they looked around the room. Watching everything that their family and ex-family was doing, knowing that drama was about to start because one of the relatives went over to Honey, who just barely tolerates the family get togethers. "I am tired but good, how are you it's been a while since I have seen you last." She said as she looks at where Danny was looking, and sighs knowing that Danny and she was thinking the same thing that Honey barely tolerates the family get togethers. " We should probably leave before the drama starts." As she grabs his hand and starts heading towards the door. But notices that instead of following her, he pulls her close and hugs her. "I'm doing good." He smiles at her and then they go outside before the drama starts inside. "Umm why did you hug me? Danny." She said once they were outside.
