Community Update

Aside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community!

Official Lioden Raffle

LINK - This is our official community update raffle. Everyone gets a chance to win a rare prize, plus something extra for any runner ups. These raffles have a very minimal ticket price, and there is a limit of 1 ticket per account to make it fair! Good luck!

Regarding Maintenance

Today's maintenance took place in order to update the raffle lioness system to operate as mentioned within January Development Update #76. As a reminder of how the system will be working, we have copied the blurb from the previous news post below.

Raffle Lioness - Phase 1

* Today's raffle lioness was pulled as normal.

* Going forward, raffle lioness designs will now be queued up and set to release on a specific date automatically.

* The winner of a raffle lioness will now be pulled automatically at 3am server time (an hour after Rollover time) on Fridays.

* When a winner is pulled, four runner-ups are also pulled and stored secretly.

* The winner will be sent an in-game message asking them to visit a link to "claim" the raffle lioness. This is not regular claiming where you might lose her, this is just a check to make sure you have room in your territory - and if so, she's yours.

* If the winner does not accept the raffle lioness within 28 days of receiving this message, the first runner up is pulled and is offered the chance to claim her. This process repeats throughout all four runner ups.

* In the very, very slim chance that nobody accepts her, her design will be sent back to the admins. Her design may be released in a regular raffle in a Community News post, or be put back into the Raffle Lioness system at a later date, or it may just be discarded.

We are still planning to release Raffle Studs - Phase 2 in a future update within Q1 of 2025!

Contest Update

We underestimated how tough it would be to judge the winners of the "Equip to Distress", Fan Art, "Most Festive Lion", and Writing contests - our apologies! We'll be taking another week to review all entries to the fullest among our team, and will then announce all winners together. Thank you all for your patience!

Art Bug Fixes

* Ocelot markings have been uploaded for all mutations
* Updated Spirited's lineart due to minor pixel colour gaps between lineart and bases
* This weekend, expect some Spirited mane shapes to have all Piebalds, and some Jaglion markings to be updated!

Coding Bug Fixes

* Custom Decors should now appear properly on lions in the Lion Wardrobe. Please note that Custom Decors that are categorised incorrectly will need to be adjusted before they work properly. You can report these on the Bug Board. There is a known issue where some Custom Decors are not appearing in the decor selector, this is being looked into.
* Universal Custom Decors should work on all stages, poses, and mutations now.
* Contest entries that used Translucent Jellyfish were not hiding overlay-type mutations (such as Achromia, Melanism, and Piebalds/Patches) when entered. These should work as intended going forward. Existing entries that were affected by this were adjusted manually.
* A note about Contest & ETI entries and hiding decors: the "Hide" button in the wardrobe only hides a decor while viewing a design. This is meant to make it easier to view layers beneath it. Any "hidden" decors will be visible in the final output when used as a contest/ETI entry. Instead, you will need to completely remove the decor from the design before submitting it.
