Like I sorta get if it shows 'this lion has 1 circumstance of inbreeding' but they shouldn't be considered dirty if their great grandparent is inbred, like it doesn't even show on the lions page.

alot of people will click on each lion in the line to make sure its not inbred. but it doesnt matter for the game some people just like to play a version called hard mode. its where you try to keep lions clean so it makes the game more challenging. but not everyone plays by that.

Overall, it doesn't . There are no actual functional changes in gameplay . However, many users try to keep lions "clean" or not inbred due to their own preference and game style .

It is just aesthetics and personal preferences.
I think lot of people get the ick in real life thinking about it, myself included, and dislike the idea of it happening in a place used to escape real life a bit. To me they are fun pixels to make up stories with so I can ignore it sometimes but I still avoid it.
As far as game play It doesn't do anything good or bad just makes the heritage page look slightly cleaner if they don't have inbreeding.

It's valid to find it annoying. I really don't give too much a shit either way. But it is how some people prefer to play the game, and there's nothing really wrong about it unless they're trying to act like their lion game choices make them superior. It's the same vice versa too. Just a gameplay choice.

that's their choice my man. you can be annoyed about it, but you have things, i'm sure, that make you not want to purchase a lion or stud too. it's a game.

it is a game choice, and doesn't effect the lions health, but I will say it DOES effect the market of the game.

it is a lot harder to sell a lion with any inbreeding, even more harder to sell one with the big 4 or the big bads in their linages. (big 4 are old time big stat lions. The big bad are the newer big stat ones.)

So in a way, if you sell lions in the game, you have little to no choice but to play hard mode and have only clean lions. :(
