Hi there. I've been on a number of sites that allow custom HTML in profiles, and a few of them have had the option to disable custom HTML, and keep a standard view while visiting other profiles. But apparently Lioden doesn't have this. I'm suggesting something like this be implemented if at all possible, because sometimes the heavily edited profiles are a bit problematic with loading times, difficulty navigating flashy gifs or eyesearing colors. It'd be an option on our own account not to view these edits, maybe? Just a thought. EDIT: This wouldn't be a site wide thing. It would be something individual users can decide for themselves so they aren't forced to look at, or load cumbersome layouts that they don't want to look at, or strain their computers with. This comes from personal experience with a connection that often loads less than 1mbps :/ I'm not entirely sure if it is the HTML or CSS or a mix of both that would need to be disabled for this to happen. Plaintext was also suggested, and I support that too. It would be great if a coder or admin could help with clarifying a bit. |

Well, for all I care you all can block my codes and others codes, that I do not care about. The people that block just need to realize that huge 4,000 stories and huge boxes of art are no longer going to be in scrollbars and will take a huge part of the page. Hence my rejection of the idea. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah, the flashy colors and fonts in some den layouts hurt my eyes and I can barely read the brightly colored words, so I would totally want this in-game and would use this option. Full support! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think the solution could be simple enough - the option to turn off territory descriptions in other players' profiles completely, effectively showing them in the standard Lioden view. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 26/06/14 by Growrr (#16845) |

I'd support disabling the CSS. not the html though. XD Just because I like seeing peoples' artwork on their profiles (heck I have some on mine - my main account), but the CSS is a pain for my computer to load sometimes. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 06/07/14 by Blurr (#22901) |

I really really REALLY don't miss all the custom den layouts that are currently disabled, especially those stupid cursors designed to prevent you from clicking anything. As far as where people five bazillion drawings of lions and stories about their OCs would go, I think we could either go the route of also being able to turn off den descriptions (especially images), or all that stuff could be moved to the bottom of the page. That way, if you have notices about your breeding rules or when you'll be online next, people can still see them if they want by scrolling down. Another option (and my personal favorite): simple version den description. You can have your massive HTML filled description, and then below it is a box to put the simple version for people who have the main one disabled. It would have a reasonable character limit and be text only. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think this is a really good idea, and I do like Ruru's suggestion quite a bit. I have some sensory issues where lots of bright/flashing/strobing/moving images give me headaches, and because of a lot of the CSS/HTML I avoid looking at people's dens whenever possible. 0 players like this post!
