Chimera/somatic mutation, but piebald markings :D (which is the way it would genetically work anyway as somatic and chimera are not inherited, but piebald IS)

IF lioden had realistic genetics, though, a lion could, in theory, stud from both coats. Doesn't really matter with the current system, though

Actually, I'm pretty sure that cardinal is a bilateral gynandromorph. They have both female and male characteristics.

Support, if chimerism (sp?) is a mutation and not a marking.

Essentially the same thing, they have mosaicism, which is a similar condition to chimerism but from a different origin, generally, they cannot be told apart from each other without a test.

I think chimeric would be cool if it actually played with the base colors of the patents.
Like you'd get a mutant cub with chimera who came from a cream lion and brown lioness that was chimeric cream and brown.

It would be a major pain. I honestly hope that in the future genetics get a little reworked.
If chimera did get put in I would prefer it not be white. Perhaps black/onyx chimera.
