When exploring, you often come across fights with NPCs. You fight that NPC, and no matter if you win or lose, you always have to go back to the explore menu, to the map and into exploring if you wish to continue. Why not make it so that after fighting an NPC, you are just put back into the map where you left off? Lets say I'm in the jungle. I fight a gorilla. After I win or lose, instead of having to "click a link" and go back through all of those menus, it just puts me back in the jungle? I always get tired of going back through the menu to continue exploring. Anyone agree? |

Or you can use bookmarks? I personally bookmarked all important links. - Exploring (with my desired biome) - Hunting - Patrolling - Trading Center This way I have quick links if I need them. I also had this suggestion, but stopped asking for it once the bookmarks came in. made gameplay a lot easier and faster for me. ![]() |

I see your point, BUT, it just seems like a very basic function this game aught to have. ![]() |

Oh yes, adding on, if you win or lose, there is supposed to be a link which takes you back to the map. Not exactly to the biome, but at least it lands you back on the map. From there on it is just a single click. ![]() |

I was meaning to make this thread myself, and I'm happy it's already here. I realize it's not a big issue, but I see no reason why we have to concern ourselves with extra clicks or going out of our way to create bookmarks. There's no reason- especially if you have energy to spare- to return to the main map after an NPC encounter. This is compounded on by the confusing buttons: Why does "Yae!" return you to the actual Explore overworld, and why *doesn't* "Return," well, return you to your previous map. Makes no sense to me. xP ![]() |
