Zeus lifted his gaze to the sky for a moment before turning back to Falyn, "I'm sure you will" he laughed, watching as she seemed to blend in with the flurries falling around her. Turning to a more serious note he added "We should all be heading out to the meeting place soon, everyone will join us" He said loudly. He gaze a huff of delight "It will be good to see our fellow leaders again" He mused to the horses around him. He wondered how they were getting along.

The snow was fairly refreshing to her, lifting her head she took in a fresh breath of air and released, seeing her own breath freeze in front of her snout.

Ace sipped from the shimmering river for a hear-beat. Lifting his head he took a step away from the water before scenting other horses, many other horses. He wasn't afraid of other horses, he was usually just hopeful to have someone to talk to. Trotting in the direction of the smells he spotted a large herd off in the distance, but much closer he spotted a red roan mare staring at them from a distance. He considered approching her but thought better of it, so he simply called out "Hey! In a friendly matter, he wasn't always the best at talking to others though.

Delilah broke into a gallop along the river, closing her eyes and enjoying the moment on her way back to her herd. She opened her eyes just in time to see something a creamy white color laying out in front of her. As a reaction she flung herself in the air, to avoid colliding with the animal. She had been caught off guard and sailed through the air awkwardly before hitting the ground hard with her side. Skidding across the ground on her side, she felt the ground tugging on her pelt. A heart-beat later she found herself laying on her side, jumping to her feet she was more worried for the animal than herself, all she had earn from her fall was a small road rash on her shoulder and a muddy side. She made a mental note to ask Cyrus to take a look at her burn. Delilah quickly shook herself free of the dirt she could manage to remove before trotting briskly over to the animal she had avoided. A pale fox maybe? She thought No..... I haven't seen one of those around here for years Making her way over to the animal she suddenly recognized the figure I-its a foal! She stood in front of the filly motionless for a few heart beats before whinnying kindly, while trying not to let her voice shake from shock, "Hello, A-are you okay!? I didn't hit you, did I?"

The filly had lowered her head so that her nose was just brushing the dirt. Her eyes were closed and her immaturity to the true danger of being alone made her completely oblivious to the dangers around her. Perhaps when she had her mother, it would have been alright to lay down and doze off, but now she was alone. It was the sound of thundering hooves that woke the young horse from her cat nap. She panicked as a large, dark figure sailed over her and landed roughly on the ground. She scrambled to her hooves, stumbling over her still too long legs and ending up on the ground once again. She looked at the figure and saw that it was another horse.

She relaxed slightly when the mare walked over and asked if she was alright. "Uh...Y-yeah. I'm ok." She shook her had as she spoke next. "You didn't hit me." Vega slowly stood up. She was a tall filly due to her legs but she had a very light build. The mare before her was taller and darker than her mother had been, but she had the same eyes.

Amaryllis stood off slightly to the side, watching Zeus talking to the other mares. She wasn't very interested in the conversation, but there was nothing better to do at the moment. Seeing how Falyn looked at Zeus, she sighed. She knew that look. She had looked at a stallion like that once. 'Poor sap, I pity her. Love is a terrible, terrible thing. It always ends in heartbreak.' She thought, shaking her head before following after Renegade, to head to the valley. Noticing that some snow was starting to fall, the mare looked up to the sky for a moment. She didn't like the snow that much, it covered all the grass.

Cyrus finished collecting the herbs quickly. It was easy to collect all of them in such a short amount of time because it was winter, not much grew during this time of year. He turned and began to gallop back to the herd quickly, hoping that Quillon hadn't started to head to the valley yet. Once he made it back, he was relieved to see that he wasn't late. He searched the area for the Lead Stallion, and saw him talking with a mare that he didn't know. His ears flattened slightly. He had a hard time trusting others, so he wasn't a big fan of strangers. He snorted softly and back away, heading towards a small boulder. He moved it out of the way to reveal a small hole in the ground, where he stored all of his herbs. He put the new ones he had gathered in the hole before covering it up with the rock again, not wanting to let the snow get to the precious plants.

Nami began to wander closer to the other herd, when a voice called out, further in the distance. She glanced around, desperately hoping the voice wasn’t for her. She was wrong. A stallion was regarding her. He was all black, a Mustang like herself. Was he a loner, too? It was hard to tell. Nami thought for a moment. She could welcome him over here, be sociable for a meager amount of time, see if maybe they were needed at the big meeting. And then be rid of him. Eventually.

“Hello,” Nami called back. She forced her legs to move, planting each hoof in determination to stride towards him and be a welcoming mare. For once.

Echo tiled his head at Andeo. That’s up to the leaders, Echo. He resisted the urge to snort, because of course it was, he just wanted to know if it was about time to leave. He kept his mouth shut as the other stallion left – Andeo was his superior after all, and it was surely just a misunderstanding – and instead turned his attention to Anahi.

Zeus smiled at Falyn "Lets hope for only good news" He said, he noticed something in her gaze that was different from the other mares, but he couldn't name it. Shrugging it off he turned to Renegade and Amaryllis who were beginning to head out, "Hey would you two mind helping me gather the others, i don't want them to miss the meeting." He said smiling, he knew it was a lot to ask, but he wanted to travel as a full herd and he knew that some of the other horses were unaware of, and plus all they needed was Esroh and Kali. They wouldnt be hard to find :).

Jade smiled at the Brown stallion before turning back to Anahi, "i can help look for the others if you would like," she commented smiling. Ace dipped his head respectfully to the younger mare. "I'm Ace," He said, wondering if she was a loner like himself. He had learned from news, and maybe rumors, that the herds around here were often very protective of themselves, which Ace could understand, yet had never truly felt the need to be so protective being a lone stallion. Looking down the valley to the herd he had a odd longing to join one of his own, but he quickly shrugged the idea away, not wanting to commit to something so serious just yet.

Delilah gave a sigh of relief as she saw that the filly had not been hurt, then her worries grew again as she asked "Do you have family? where are they? is there anything i can do?" Delilah wanted to help this filly, she was very young and unprotected, anything could snatch her away at any moment. Looking around Delilah saw nothing in sight and no scents of other horses, this filly was completely alone. Not knowing how to react Delilah steadied her breath and waited for the filly's response, not wanting to scare or make her nervous, she wanted the filly to know that she was a friend.

Octavia, having been startled, says quickly with a slight grin, "Oh I didn't see you there Janie. I guess I was just spacing out. Thank you, but i'm not really a guard, I guess I just wandered off a bit." As she talks, she notices a bit of commotion off in the distance. It seems as though one of her herd members either rolled in the grass or fell over. Not knowing what happened, she happily begins to graze again after her conversation with Janie.

Quillon listened to Maja, quite happy when she said she sensed good things with the herd. Some horses underestimated the Scout's Herd, since they weren't as strong as the Warrior's Herd, or as respected as the Royal's Herd, but Quillon's herd was home to some of the fastest horses in the area, and he was proud to be leading it. "So, I assume you will be joining us, then?" He asked, mildly tilting his head to the side.

As the walked, Amaryllis watched Renegade, thinking of the different ways she could kill her right now. 'If we come near water, I could push her in and drown her, just like I did to my mother.' She thought, holding back a smirk. 'I still can't believe that nobody suspects me of killing her, only my father knows. Her thoughts were interrupted by Zeus' voice, and she sighed before turning around to face him, putting an innocent smile on her face. "Sure. Who do you want me to find?" She asked politely.
