Even if my mistake is tripping over something. The survival of the clan depends on it." He opens his mouth, but closes it. Should he mention Ripplepaw? "I saw Ripplepaw before we left. She seemed upset that she hasn't got any practice outside the camp with her mentor. Is there any chance we can quickly go talk to the leader to get her to join us?" ~ Tigerpelt ~ Tigerpelt nods, "Yep. We are gonna get SO much fresh-kill!" And she trotted off, keeping her paw steps light. A few minutes later, she came upon a scent trail. Tigerpelt would follow it silently, and come upon a plump mouse. She crouched low in the ferns, and slowly moved closer, downwind. She stepped forward, then raced toward the small mouse. She inwardly smiled as the mouse froze in surprise, and how cleanly and quietly she killed it. She buried her prey and then moved off to find more. 0 players like this post! Like? |

~ Tigerpelt ~ [LOL!] Tigerpelt crouched low as she scented a rabbit, and followed the trail. She stepped lightly, coming upon the rabbit. it looked plump enough to feed half the Clan in LeafBare! She slowly stalked close enough, and pounced, landing just half a mouse-length away. She sped after it as it ran, and flashed out a paw. She hooked its pelt and grabbed it, biting it with a swift killing bite. Tigerpelt Moved on, and missed a squirrel, but caught one more mouse. She buried all her catches. 0 players like this post! ~ Ripplepaw ~ Ripplepaw jolted awake. She hadnt realized she had fell asleep while sitting up. She laid down on her belly, then nodded off once more. ~ Tigerpelt ~ Tigerpelt caught one more mouse, then carried her catch to the small clearing. She dropped her rabbit heavily, but she still had to go back for the rest. After burying her rabbit for safe keeping, she went back to bring the rest to the slearing. 0 players like this post! Redpelt * ThunderClan * Deputy Redpelt returned from a rather eventful hunt, fur sticking up just as much as usual but more dirty and she carried a thick, fat rabbit; probably had been expecting litter. She huffed as she made her way to the fresh kill pile, dumping it down with a loud thump. It had put up a rather fierce fight; she had managed to drag it from its burrow, which was a feat in its own. She glanced around, puffing out the leftover tuft of fur from her mouth before slinking over to Cedarstar, a small 'mrr' sounding in the back of her throat in greeting, giving him a friendly head-bump. Mouth now full of berries, Doeheart turns heel for the second time today and rushes away from the Owl tree- unknowing of the pawprints she left in the soft dirt leading back to the Windclan border. Hunger knawing at her now, she gently puts the small twigs of berries down on the grass and looks around- spotting a mole poking it's head up from it's underground home. She pounces on it- ending it's life with a swift bite to the neck and returns to camp with her mouth full of food and flora. After dropping the berries onto a pile of herbs, she takes the mole into the center of camp and sits down though not before listening out for any bees. All clear. Happy that she now has food, the she-cat quickly tucks in- enjoying the serene scenery of the moor around her. 0 players like this post! Like? |

=Thunderclan= (Sorry, was at school!) Cedarstar had been finishing up the squirrel, pulling at the strips leftover at the base of the tail, spitting out any hairs he caught. It was a tedious process, but worth getting the last few bits of meat. He looked up to see Redpelt dragging along the rabbit, his ears giving a twitch in greeting as he admired her catch. It was the biggest one he'd seen in several moons, perhaps his whole life. Cedarstar concluded his meal to greet her in return; a brief press and hearty purr in return to the head-bump. "Very well, Redpelt," He responded, curling up to himself in a "loaf," his wiry cinnamon tail curling around his paws. "Everything seems to be doing fine, going just as planned. I even spent time with one of Moonflower's kits," he made a purr that mingled in with the sentence, content. 0 players like this post! Like? |
