The small pup's blue eyes widened. Before him was cold crisp fluff that burned his tender pink paw-pads every time he attempted to step in it. 'Weird...' he thought, placing his paw once again into the weird white stuff, that mimicked his own pelt. He was suddenly shoved into it by a humans ruff hand for he had not heard their commands to let other dogs into the fenced area, sending him skidding to a halt with a yip he crashed face first into a warm furry body. Taking a step back the small fluffy pup looked up into a large dog's eyes, Opening his jaws, the pup's pink tongue rolled out of his mouth. "Hello!" he squeaked happily, not knowing who this dog was...or how dangerous he was. for he was the Alpha... Dale. Even though he had no sense of hearing, Dakota had learned how to read most dogs lips, and had picked up some common words. ![]() |

Amber | Female | 2.5 years | Anatolian Shepherd | Zeta | Location~ The Stone Pasture Mentions~ Dale (indirectly) Cyrus (indirectly) {Open} Amber was walking around the stone pasture, her claws clicking loudly against the cold floor. Her new leg still felt a bit sore to her but her face stayed in irs serious pose and she sucked it up knowing it would get her now here to show any kind of pain, nor would anyone care. She knew Dale was on the look our for trusted dogs to do quake training but she wanted no part if it. The shepherd had bits if snow still clinging to her but she didn't care anymore, looking around she saw Cyrus not far from her, Her expression turned soft for a moment. She'd speak with him if she could but why would he ever want to speak with her? She was higher in rank and most others would rather avoid higher ranked dogs out of fear. ![]() |

Dakota yipped, as once again he was shoved away from something, but this time only a few inches. "Hey!" he barked, scrambling to sit upright. the bits of fur that clung to his thick fur were barley noticeable. "Whatwas that fur?!" this time when he spoke, The young pup's words slur together awkwardly, being unable to hear his mistake he stomped one of his paws, which was a huge mistake being that the ground was cold and hard, while his paws were still tender and soft. ((sorry for the shortness and replying so quickly.)) ![]() |

Captain | male | 3 years | Silken Windhound x Greyhound | Zeta | Location - Pasture Mentions - In passing, Dale, Arya, Dakota Captain had been awoken by the steps of their human owners. He had been alert for that sound almost since birth. It announced that freedom would arrive soon, perhaps even food. His body quickly rose from the hard ground and his paws brought him towards the door. The thick fur that covered his body had protected him from the worst of the cold, though his paws were not quite as protected. Despite that, Captain found running across the snow interesting. Unlike dirt, he would sink in and the snow would seem to wrap around his legs as he ran, pulling him down. It certainly took more effort, but he was slowly getting the hang of it. His eyes would pick out shallow tracks of snow and he had learnt how to lift his paws so as not to slow him down. The buzzer signaled the opening of his door. He darted through, already picking up towards a high speed. He bolted past the alpha, Dale, and two other dogs. He felt a small tang of fear, worrying that Dale would call on him for something and take away from his morning run. Instead of turning back though, he ran faster, eventually nearing the far fence where he turned and began to run laps around the outside of the yard. ![]() |

Petra // Zeta // Beauceron // 4 Years, 6 Months Location: The Stone Pasture Mentions: Cyrus Petra stood tall, at the side of the Stone Pasture, keeping an eye on the other dogs. It had been about four years since she had started faking her loyalty, and she finally felt like she was in a good position to start gathering members for the rebellion. The only problem was that before she recruited members, she would need to make sure they were against the government, and if a Zeta went around asking Etas for their opinion, it would look suspicious. Of course, she had already figured out a solution for this: she just needed an Eta on her side who could bring up a casual conversation about the government with others, and then report back to her. She already knew exactly which dog she wanted for the spot: Cyrus. Every dog knew he was against the government, so they wouldn't be afraid to tell him their real opinion, and she would be lying if she said she didn't have a particular fondness for the dog. She soon spotted Cyrus and made her way over to him, her metal hind legs clicking against the pavement as she walked. "Cyrus, I heard a few things about your behavior, and I'd like to have a word with you." She said in a threatening, very convincing tone. She then moved her head closer to his for a moment and whispered "Just go along with it.", before straightening her posture and waiting for his response. She was trying to bring him to a more secluded area to speak, but without raising any suspicion. Like this, it would just look like she was bringing him somewhere to punish him. [I'm sorry if this post makes no sense, I just finished a huge exam and my brain is fried. I also noticed that the link to Petra's image doesn't work] ![]() Edited on 31/05/16 @ 03:15:23 by BlazeRed <3Loki's Gal<3 (#27478) |

~Astro~4 and a half years old~Male~Mostly Golden Retriever~Location: Stone Pasture~Mentions: None (open) The snow fell lightly as Astro trotted along through the pasture. His tail was held high as he looked around. Maybe he could find someone to play with? He saw several dogs talking amongst themselves, and he smiled. He began to trot over, but something held him back. He looked back and saw his mechanical foot had snagged on a weed that was covered in snow. Astro gasped loudly, and lowered his front paws into a play stance, "A plant!" He panted happily. Any normal, loyal-to-the-government dog would scoff at him and call him crazy, but Astro would just ignore them. The playful pup sniffed the plant, and ran around the stone pasture, looking for someone to play with, or at least interact with, so he wouldn't be bored. ![]() |

Burggie // Eta // Basset Hound // 3 Years, 8 Months Location: The Stone Pasture Mentions: --- Open A lump of long-eared snow wiggled around the compound with an awkward, if not lazy sort of attitude to it. Beneath the snow, Burggie yawned loudly, before sneezing and losing some of the snow around his face. Shaking himself to further widen his view, and coincidently burden a couple of dogs with some extra snow. Licking his jowls, the saggy, quickly heating hound gazed around at the dogs, some charging around the pasture, some arguing, some just about ready to argue. "Same ol' bag o' beans ah guess." he sniffed, before lowering his head to clean himself, and sneezing again after inhaling some more snow. Shaking his head, he huffs a dense cloud and waddles further into the pasture, snow already building up over his maw. ----- Pillow // Eta // Bedington Terrier // 1 Years, 6 Months Location: The Stone Pasture Mentions: Astro The already shivering terrier gingerly places her paws upon the semi hardened snow, yelping occasionally when her small paws slip through, saliva sliding up and down her plastic throat as she swallows and darts her almost golden brown eyes around apologetically as she gains a few glares from the higher ups, and a few etas as well. Her thin body vibrates violently as she searches for any friendly, and more importantly warm, looking dogs to interact with... And steal their body warmth from as well. Spying the excitable retriever, her heart skips a beat and she watches him charge about the large cage they called a 'pasture'. After the momentary daze, Pillow quickly, and daintily, darts after the brute, her tail wagging anxiously as she approaches him. ![]() |

Leo|male|Tervuren/GSP|Epsilon Location--Stone Pasture Mentions-- Dale, Dakota, Arya, Captain, Petra, Cyrus Leo's first steps into the cold white powder were ones weighted with reluctance. The dog wasn't particularly fond of snow. Though his fur was well-suited for cold weather, containing two coats from his Tervuren side, he could -- and would -- still complain. Snow was absolutely terrible for running around, as well as his mechanical foot. Though it was built to handle water, grains of snow caught in the claws of that foot would jam the mechanisms until it melted. He sighed, pausing to survey the courtyard. Dale was talking with two pups, the annoyingly perky Arya and that other pup, Dakota, the one that never minds him or gets out of his way when he comes through. The Zetas would have a field day training those two, for sure. His gaze passed to one of those Zetas, running laps around the yard. Really? What is that dog doing? Before he could storm over and interrupt, another Zeta caught his eye. Petra was talking to Cyrus. Leo's lip curled. The rebellious dogs could change everything, and he didn't like that. It did seem like he was going to be disciplined by Petra, which was good. Leo snapped out of his observations to notice that he'd been standing there so long his paws -- except the metal one -- had melted holes in the snow. He huffed and stalked over toward one of the walls, where there was slightly less snow piled. -------------------------------------------- Kittanny|female|Maremma Sheepdog/Collie|Eta Location: Stone Pasture Mentions: Dale, Arya, Dakota Kittanny practically bounced around the snowy courtyard, covered from head to toe in the soft powder. She honestly didn't care who saw her. They all probably thought she was crazy, anyways. Her bright eyes watched as two pups approached Dale. She frowned. These pups must not know who he is...or what he's capable of. Kittanny was wary of all the higher-ups, having been used as a punching bag on more than one occasion because of her soft nature. But she forgave them for it. She always did. They were as much victims of this cruel place as she was. They were brainwashed, doing whatever it took to survive. They couldn't be blamed for their behavior when their bodies weren't their own anymore. ![]() Edited on 31/05/16 @ 17:42:54 by Becquerel (KokoZuzu's side) (#33718) |

Enigma| Female| Aryan Mastiff| 5 years| Location: Pasture Mentions: Dale, Arya, Dakota(indirect) Ice To Enigma the snow had hardly been a problem, though her mechanical parts always seemed to be stiff when she woke up. Recently for a reason she couldn’t explain, her nerves had been on the fritz and her handlers had taken notice. Her handlers had taken her out hours before for a bit of light exercise, and she really needed it. Over anything she loved running through the snow, especially the clicking sound her paws made on the ice. She watched as other dogs began to wake up and began to wonder when Dale was going to start some elaborate training exercise. She sighed and watched her breath billow in front of her nose, as much as she wanted to be seen as loyal this was going to be a pain. She followed the scent of her Alpha and quickly found him talking to some puppies. Her breath hitched when she saw two puppies at the feet of Dale. I wonder if those puppies know who they are talking too. She saw Ice sitting not too far away from Dale and the puppies, and decided to wait with her. Make friends wherever you can I guess. Shaking her fur free of snow she walked towards Ice and sat next to her. ” Hey Ice.” Inclining her head to the Great Dane she asked,”Has he said anything about training or patrolling yet?” ![]() Edited on 31/05/16 @ 14:51:13 by Raven (#60460) |

Isla Crow | Fae | Stone Pasture |Eta | American Bully and Norwegian Elk hound| Mentions: N/A | Isla Slowly rose up, not wanting to stay down, she was cold. She hated when it snowed. She looked around at everyone else then started to walk in a circle, for warmth. Once she was done and warm she looked around once more, she was bored but wasn't in the mood for talking to anyone. "Wow...This place is a bit crazy today..." she whispered to herself. Slowly, she walked towards a corner and sat, just waiting for something to happen. "Something better happen soon or I'm gonna go Crazy." She Spoke Softly. ![]() |
