Rakasa lives and loves her rather boring life, not very outspoken and not very shy, she is somewhere in between. She is a natural huntress of course, though she does not show off her skills or boast. She has a unique coat but does not boast that either. nor does she boast her rare eye coloration and inheritance. She simply is a contributing lioness of the pride and she rather likes it that way. Her other siblings all sought out new prides, some remaining to train others not, Rakasas own daughters had grown and departed as well. She is not bitter though, far from it, she likes and enjoys this simple stress free life.
When Helvetinlee arrived in the pride as a young adolescent form a unknown pride she caught Rakasa's interest. The new adolescent had left her pride apparently due to stressful conditions, it very obviously affected her deeply, this upset Rakasa and the lioness made it her goal to help Helvetinlee fit into the pride and recover from whatever childhood scaring she had. the lioness which brought Helvetinlee to the pride, Dark Moon, did not seem very willing to let Rakasa get close to the young lioness, but she soon realized that Rakasa meant no harm. In a very short time Rakasa became Helvetinlees adoptive mother.
When Rakasa was 8 years old and 7 months, Nova asked her daughter if she would be heir to her rank, which she refused kindly. She was not cut out for high ranked life, it was too complicated in her opinion. However she seen this as an ample opportunity to officially add Helvetinlee to the pride and convinced her mother to accept the younger lioness as her heir. Nova agreed, a bit reluctantly, but made sure to explain she was not disappointed but proud of her daughters choice.
At a gracefully aged 15 years and 9 months old, Rakasa's chosen tranquil and relaxed life has payed off. The kind hearted lioness is deeply respected by the new blood of the pride, for both her gentle nature and endless wisdom. At this age she has witnesses the coming and passing of many of the prides lionesses, outlived most of her peers, and stood watch as the prides generations transitioned. She worried though that she would fail to keep her bloodline flowing as her age increased, but now has a daughter to be proud of. Nikin, born with a fine coat and kind personality also has her grandmothers passion, a skilled huntress and natural explorer. Rakasa has done her best to influence her still young daughter in the ways of kindness and wisdom, and sees a bright future in her. Rakasa has not chosen and heir, she has decided to let the lionesses in the new generation select their own leaders, similar how she chose not to be Nova's heir.
