Ash is a strange and unpredictable lioness. She likes to claim that she has some angel in her ancestry. To be fair, she does have wings. However, her wings resemble those of a vulture, complete with the carrion odor, and her general mien and behavior have a decidedly dark edge to them. She isn't as powerful a magic-user as the pride's official sangoma, Twilight, but Ash definitely has some unusual powers of her own. Perhaps she does have angel blood in her and she's just a weird lioness irrespective of her heritage. Or maybe she's related to both angels and demons. Maybe she's just related to demons, only it was a demon with vulture wings. The rumors fly fast and furious when it comes to the details of Ash's ancestry. For her part, Ash is a capable huntress who serves on one of the pride's hunting teams, but when not on duty, she prowls around visiting dark, strange places for reasons she rarely bothers to explain. And when she does, the explanations tend not to make sense to her pridemates. The others see her as a little creepy, but basically well-intended.
