Perhaps, if she'd known, things would have been different. Perhaps not. Dafina is a quiet, reserved and observant cub, though not distant. In her early years, she would occasionally hang out with the scouts guild, enjoying being up in trees for the oneness she achieved with her environment. Eventually, when she was old enough, Priestess Hasa approached Swila and asked if she would allow them to train her to become a Shaman. Swila was uncertain, but Dafina was quietly enthusiastic about the opportunity. After months of training, Dafina was initiated into the guild and became the Shamans' first chronicle. Dafina means 'Treasure' in Swahili.
