7/22/2016 - "You watch Dalila [78%] quietly for a while, and she grooms herself cutely, seeming to glow in your presence."
|Dalila --- Gentle; Delicate| Her only known family known within the pride is her three daughters and son. Her eldest daughter Makemba was traded to another pride while she was young, and hasn't been seen by any of the pride members since. (Don't worry, she is being very well taken care of by another pride.) Dalila's current cubs (her two daughters and son) are still undecided on if they will stay within the pride or not.
Dalila was born into a rather large pride, along with her siblings. She was the the runt of the litter, and was often pushed around by the other cubs. Her mother however, didn't tolerate it and usually intervened if it got to serious. As a young cub Dalila looked up to her mother often, and wanted to be just like her when she grew up. When Dalila became an adolescent, she started to grow more distant from her mother and siblings, and began to spend more time by herself. Usually, she would go on a small hunting trip every few days and bring back a gazelle every once in a while. She didn't become more distant because of her family however, it was because she knew she had to leave them behind for a new pride. Eventually, the day came, the day she had to leave and join a new pride. She had already been traded for and had to leave straight away. Saying a silent goodbye to her mother and siblings, she left with the lion who had traded for her, Scourn. Her first few weeks in the pride were tough. She usually moped around missing her family, and avoiding talking to any lioness trying to speak to her. Eventually, she finally became more open and starting speaking to the other lionesses. After a while, she was taken as an apprentice by Ashki. By the time she was around 3 years old, she had already became somewhat of a skilled hunter, but suddenly, it all changed. She had become a mother. She raised her two cubs lovingly, showing them affection whenever she could, and protecting them from the other older cubs just as her mother did. Eventually, she started also taking care of the other cubs around her as well, watching over them while their mothers took a break at the river nearby, or went on a small hunting trip for the day. Once her cubs grew older however, she slowly stopped watching the other cubs in the pride, and starting hunting again. Over the years, she has become a skillful hunter and became one of the best hunters in the pride. Now, she is expecting another litter of cubs, and has to take a break from hunting for a while.
