Biography
Named for the river from where the lovely Victoria waterfall originates, Zambezi was queen Maji's equally-lovely daughter. She was quick and agile, and she was always in motion, just like her watery namesake. She was the Mopane's princess and seldom seen apart from her beloved mother and brother, prince Daktari. She would've been next in line to be pride queen, but her mother lived such a long life that Zam was herself an older lady when the time came, so she relinquished these duties to her daughter, Victoria.

Zam was a crucial part of the Mopane's hunting party, as her speed, agility, and stamina made her the best "cutter" of the pride. She identified the individual her mother has selected, isolated it from the others, and grabbed it by a hamstring so a larger, stronger "anchor" could grab it by the throat, pull it to the ground, and grab the windpipe to take it down. It's a time-honored strategy, and without her gifts, the party would've been far less effective.

She furthered the prowess of her royal lineage by producing the prominent and formidable duo, Victoria and Kwando, both named after African bodies of water as is the tradition of her very prominent line.
