Kyrane was born to Elder Nina, the prides oldest lioness and wisest asset to the pride. His sister Amaril was his closest friend, but alas as soon as she turned a year and 7 months she was sold to another pride. Rayner said to prevent inbreeding, Elder Nina said it was so she could see the world. Kyrane saw it as blow to him. He thought how could he be kept but not his sister? Her being sold started something dark in his heart. To make matters worse he was overlooked to be the next king. He was the only young male cub in the pride, Rayner took him out to patrol, shaping him to be the best. But no, he couldn't even have that. Rayner soon brought a new adolescent in, a pink eyed male that managed to sweet talk all the lady's.... Even Kyranes own mother. Now Kyrane watches With anger as Rayner's takes Vitalis out on patrols and teaches him the ways of a king. Teaches him how to rule the throne, the one that should've belonged to Kyrane.
