Wazi is the first cub of Chubuko and Malai, making her the first in line for the throne once her parents pass away. A year and two months younger than his betrothed, Wazi has always felt admiration rather than actual love for Upendo, but that doesn't stop them from marrying and become the next royal couple, or have cubs together. Oh no, that was actually Hakuna's fault: the former rogue lion took the first chance he could and became a dictator, the first rotten fruit to rule the Climber pride; he took her rightful place as Queen and ruler, after all her father did to save him from execution. To keep the pride under control, Hakuna forced her to become his consort, and bred her only out of duty; her resulting cubs, Abadan and Hakufai, were fortunately spared when Upendo took Hakuna down, a fact that sealed the deal between her and the new King. Wazi would live to see her pride and family recover, along with her beloved Upendo, thus restoring the legacy of her parents for generations to come.
