Carswell has always been more spiritually inclined than most members of her pride. This was a major disappointment to her mother as Carswell III had hoped her daughter would be a great hunter instead. Despite this Carswell thoroughly enjoys her work as a spiritual healer. The worst thing about her position is when her fellow pride members waste her time with small and petty arguments.
4/8/18: Carswell IV was devastated due to King Grheene's death. The two rarely talked as Grheene preferred to communicate directly with the stars when seeking guidance, but they respected each other. Carswell IV took care of Grheene's ascension to the stars as politely as she could
4/16/18: Carswell IV knew her mother's death would come soon, but she hadn't expected it to be this soon. 8 months after Grheene's death felt like too soon as some of the pride were still grieving over their last king. Queen Fantasia needed her mother especially and now had twice as much to mourn. Carswell IV now regretted spending all the time studying and talking to the stars when she should have been spending that time with her elderly mother. Though it was difficult Carswell IV prepared her body for the ascension. The entire pride joined, including Trevelyan.
4/25/18: With the death of Queen Fantasia, a dynasty had come to an end as her family broke apart. Carswell IV could only counsel each child so much before they split to find their own paths, however far it took them from the pride. Personally, Carswell IV has hidden her own grief for the death of a close friend in order to help the rest of the pride.
4/27/18: Carswell IV is happy for the new couple and even happier for the end of the unofficial competition. She formally weds the new king and queen and helps them send their secret requests to the stars.
9/17/2020: Carswell IV retires in her 14th year of life and on the same day has her very last litter of cubs. She allows her daughter
Carswell V to take her place as the pride's Spirit Healer so that she can focus on her last two daughters. No other lioness from her mother's side has had this many surviving cubs before. Carswell IV wants to make sure that what was happening between her older daughters wouldn't occur to her last cubs.
