Family: Adopted son of King Cynbal and his mates.
Personality: Bright witted, and always noticing things, even the smallest of things, the young "prince" soon learned to ignore somethings. Most of the time, he prefers to keep his mouth shut and do his job as his aunt's apprentice than speak out against what he believes is wrong.
Story:

Jelani, as far as anyone, including himself, is concerned, is Cynbal's son. No one knows where he came from or who his true parents are, or more likely were, but the king announced that the cub was his and that was the end of it. Soon it was obvious though as to why the king wanted Jelani. The cub had great potential, potential so very few had. He had the "gift". Jelani soon started training under Cynbal's sister, the pride's seer.


Jelani eventually accepted his place in the pride, and he always made sure he stayed on his uncle Luhatio's good side. Cynbal would never harm his adopted and beloved son, but his brother was unpredictable. Although Luhatio had a softish side for his pride, he hated outsiders, especially ones who couldn't account for their heritage. Where Jelani had found himself friendly sparring off with his father, as he was the king's even match compared to the stronger prince and the aging Gavin, if he ever sparred off with his uncle, it was more like a beating then a fight. In truth, Luhatio didn't mind his nephew, but he would never tell it to his face. Thus Jelani walked around on eggshells around the future king.
