So he left one day, and returned with a strange young lioness by his side. "Who is this Luhatio?" Cynbal asked his brother. "Her name is Seraphina, and she will be my queen," the prince replied sternly. "I not only vouch for her, but I will defend her to my last breath if you wish to argue with me. You may be older than me, and I love you because you're my brother, but we both know you would loose the fight." "Very well, brother," the king stated, his voice calm and trying to hide the fact he was unnerved by his brother's half-threat. "She may stay and she will be you queen. From this day till the day you are king, she is Princess Seraphina." The lioness barely spoke a murmur to anyone, but she was clearly strong and a well skilled huntress. She soon started hunting with Luhatio's sisters, niece, and Cynbal's mate Kira. Seraphina was seen, but not heard, and that was the way she liked it. The only ones she ever spoke to besides Luhatio were his mother and "nephew" Jelani.
