Haki Ya Mkweaji

First daughter of Upendo, Haki is named next in line above her older siblings Abadan and Hakufai; her mother Wazi had them with Hakuna to stay alive, and when the usurper was finally taken down all his offspring lost any entitlement they had to become royalty. Even so, Haki and her siblings share a good bond, and there's no hard feelings on their part. She's been in love with Mawingu, Abadan's friend and Upendo's chosen heir, ever since she was a cub; a good thing considering she is to be his Queen.
When Haki finally became Queen, she became pregnant immediately. She also convinced Mawingu to vow she'd be the only royal lioness he'd mate to, so all his cubs would be theirs alone; Mawingu kept his word, however he sought new lionesses to bring in to the pride as concubines and had cubs with them. Haki was heartbroken ever since, but decided to allow it as long as Mawingu would not bestow the Mkweaji name to any cubs other than theirs.
