PENELOPE: Greek myth name of the patient wife of Odysseus who waited ten years for his return during which she refused several proposals of marriage by princes. The name is composed of the elements pene "needle" and lopas "spool," which is taken to mean "weaver of cunning," denoting someone whose motives are hard to decipher.

Quirky and interested Pen always collects shiny objects and stores them in various places around the Den. She never really grew up out of the playful cub stage and is a great favourite with the cubs. She is rather innocent of the worlds woes, she names her daughters greek names as her mother named her a greek name. Determined to continue on this proud heritage she ignores the traditions of the rest of the pride of giving their cubs compound names and instead names them what she thinks suits them.

Recently shes become more mature after having her second litter of cubs, she worries for her daughter Kleio who sunsight sent as a gift to the king Thamani, hearing from copperstream who visited that the white prince to whom her daughter was betrothed was a right royal little shit she sent her daughter to go and check up on her.

Grateful that her daughter is now betrothed to the new crown prince she has now turned her gaze to her daughter Meg worried that she is falling in love with the Vandal lion Imani who is betrothed to her other daughter Kleio. Watching this love tear the two daughters apart the vandal lady has been trying to persuade Megaira to let go of such a love to no avail.

Unable to stop the events of which is happening in the pride Penelope focuses on producing good cubs for the pride. Giving birth to an ugly brown cub instead of her normal Vandal or Albino cubs she has slipped it to Juno and told Sunsight that she had had a miscarrige. The cub ended up dying suspiciously, found with odd markings carved into its flesh Sunsight deduced that it had been killed by a vulture although Penelope doubts this.

Invited to become the new Queens Lady in waiting the smart vandal female knows that it was not a request but an order. Accepting this proposal she does her best to keep everything together, especially noticing of Megairas loathing toward Kleio she has brung this to the queen only to have her fears dismissed and told that they were being taken care of.

She watched with a horrified gaze as her daughter Sophia attacked Raven, knowing that this would mean the destruction of her daughter she could only watch as Sophia was dragged back and savagely killed. She kept her head down and continued to work one day seeing a silhouette of her daughter patrolling, knowing now that shes a zombie slave of the queen she works to keep on majis good side
