Aria

Aria has no memory of her life before she came to live with the Imani Pride. Riar returned from patrol at the end of a mild Spring day with her in tow. She was tired and hungry—half-starved, really—and requested sanctuary with Imani for a short time. Callamor allowed her to stay, fed her and gave her shelter. She intended to leave after only a few days, but she found the Pride welcoming and was asked to stay. Aria is a kind and gentle soul, soft-spoken and generous. It was Katiya, the Seer, that revealed to the Pride that Aria was immortal. She did not age and she could not die. She could suffer hunger, thirst, injury, illness and exhaustion, but they would never kill her. Callamor saw no reason that this new development should determine her fate with the Pride and he encouraged her to stay, as she had intended. She found a home with the Imani. Unlike the other lionesses who are not Broodmothers, Aria lives in the Den with the cubs and their caretakers. Her immortality did not allow her to be a mother, but she loved cubs. So it was here that she found a purpose.
