Recognizable by his thick mane and mostly plain pelt, this lion is well known for its pacifist ways.
In his younger years, Malusi used to be a little self centered and egotistical, and had a soft spot for cubs and his beautiful lionesses. He valued little other than those two prime examples, but tended to be quite social to animals he came across who were willing to chat, as long as they are not hyenas or leopards, as he found them quite repulsive.
But when he grew to around 10 years of age, he came across an abandoned hyena cub, and couldn’t bring himself to hurt it, and brought it into his pride. Now he respects hyenas more, but still will cast an uneasy eye upon any leopard he comes across.
He doesn’t like fighting all too much, but when he does a tad bit too ambitious though, and fights headfirst, often crawling home with a few scratches.
Of course, time will tell for this leader, and he hopes that his time will last long enough to put his pawprint in history, with a surviving pride of course.
New Cub went a little overboard and forgot this was training! They left you with some scratches instead! Ouch! Their training sadly failed. (You got a Scar: Anklebiter).
A gaggle of cubs has swamped old Grandpaw {Malusi}, begging for a story. The tired old lion grins cheekily before telling them about the time he single-handedly saved a whole herd of buffalo from crocodiles with a broken paw.
Grandpaw {Malusi} pulls New Cub aside to berate them after they misbehaved. You catch bits and pieces of what he says, including "back in my day" and "my mother would have skinned me for that". Never change, old man.
