<sub>I smelled another lioness in my territory. She wasn't in heat, it was clear she wasn't seeking a mate. That made me all the more curious as to what her business was to be here. She was malnourished and sitting at the edge of the waterfall, lapping at the stream that broke off from it. She had no idea I was behind her when I asked her if she was alright. She responded with a warning growl. I tried to calm her and told her I wasn't a threat; after she told me she was a simple traveller, I welcomed her into my kingdom, introducing myself by name. She flipped out. Went on a tangent about how she had this dream about me by name, no idea what I looked like, no idea what the purpose I served was, but damn was she dead-set on me playing some kind of role. I have to admit, I admired her. She had travelled a long time, far across lands in the month of October when demons and angels and rabies ran rampant. It took courage like no other to travel on her own for such a long time. Months, she had said. I invited her to stay with my pride, curious as to what else she might say.

I've been made aware that Kaja is not only bold and proud (despite how easily startled she can be) but also smart and excellent at giving advice. This showed when I was in a debate with Nadia over whether or not to let Bo-yo stay in the pride. Another male could prove useful in many ways that she spoke of... Nadia didn't seem too pleased with this but it was settled to allow Bo-yo to stay with us. After thoroughly thinking it over, I decided that it would be best to make Kaja my official advisor. She may be opinionated and rough around the edges but she has shown a great display of professionalism.</sub>
