Jade

Jade would find herself resting with the rest of her clique, nursing two of Kona's cubs, whilst her own daughter was off playing with the rest of the cubs. For today, the pride was at ease, enjoying the warm rays of the sun, and just catching up on many things. Her eyes looked down at the two cubs, with a sigh leaving her mouth. Jade has tried everything to make Kona realize what she was doing. But traumatized and too far gone, Kona continued to rebuff the help, even going as far was acting out with hostility. In the end, Jade simply gave up, and took it upon herself to share the communal work of rearing her young, with Bast and Anaka.

She then gazed at her own cub, Giza, seeing how she romped and play, rolling around and making a muck. It bright a temporary smile upon Jade's face, seeing her daughter thriving under such hard times. She can only think of cleaning off the dirt from Giza's fur once their day was over.
