VividLight

VividLight, more commonly known as Cotton II to her pride is the daughter of Cotton. All throughout her childhood she has always heard comments on how everyone loves her mother and how they expect her to be just like her.

Unfortunately, when she was an adolescent, she wondered too far away from the pride and the protection of the adults when she noticed an injured civet cub near a stream. She wanted to make sure it was alright as her conscious wouldn't leave her alone if she saw the little cub continue being injured. While she was helping the little civet cub a group of poachers wondered by. Though their original plan was to kill her for her pelt, her size and age made them decide it would be better to capture her and keep her until she was an adult.

She was then captured and transported to a small village hour's away from her pride. She was kept in a cage and then eventually kept tied to a poll as she outgrew her cage. Though she was going to be killed for her pelt when she was an adult, a poacher gave the idea to keep her alive and instead use her as a breeder to produce more cubs with beautiful pelts. Luckily for her an animal right's group had heard about her and were able to set her free, though now she had a tracking collar.

She was eventually able to make it back to VelvetPride where she was welcomed with open arms. Unfortunately, most of the pride had assumed her dead and now she feels like she needs to prove herself to her pride even more then she needed before. She also noticed her mother Cotton had a new litter of cubs. Though she was happy she now had more siblings, she couldn't help but notice that one of the cub's was special to her mother. She was called Jaded and was not only colorful like her, but also a mutie.

VividLight now feels like not only does she need to prove herself to be just as capable as her mother, but now fears that due to her being gone, she was going to be replaced by a new sibling who now seem's to be the main joy of all the older lionesses and her mother.
