Bone

Bone was a beautiful and eye catching cub when she was first taken into the pride. Found on the outer edges of the territory, seemingly abandoned, they knew they must take her in if she were to survive. Her natural pattern and fur was no camouflage, after all...Usually only the strongest were allowed in, but she seemed to skate by on looks alone, because she was merely a runt from her litter when she was spotted. Weak and small, she remains more as a pretty piece of eye candy to show off in the pride than anything else. It wasn't even expected she would hunt when she became older, and that indeed became the case.

Despite being as small and weak as she is, she is quite laid-back and relaxed about her situation , and doesn't let the rude comments from the others on her being practically useless get to her. At least she won't show it. Though as a cub, it definitely was a sore spot that she eventually covered in ice to protect. Turning to a cool and aloof personality to protect herself from the negative gossip.

Almost as if to prove a point, in her adolescent years, she would sometimes sneak out of the daycare alone to hunt a bird or rabbit. More times than not she was unsuccessful, but in the few cases she was able to get her paws on one, she would puff her chest out and hold her head up high with pride; dragging it around the daycare like a trophy. Though the other lionesses were never happy with this and she was often extremely scolded and punished. That never stopped her, however, as it proved her point. Or maybe it was a point she wanted to prove to herself ...

She was more than a piece of eye candy.

Later in her adolescence, Bone began to go through a change. Some feathers began to sprout from her backside, and her nights became restless and painful. Eventually, a pair of grayish white, feathery wings sprouted from her, and more angelic like features began to appear. No one had answers as to why this was happening, but Bone found pride in her new tools. They seemed to help in her scouting, and keeping watch over the pride. Groyal seemed pleased too at their usefulness, and despite her being too weak and small, she was allowed onto hunts with the other lionesses as support. Better at scouting and finding prey for the lionesses to stalk and capture.

Though eventually she would settle to being a brood mother and caring for the kits of the pride.
