Silk stared at Mist. Her eyes full of regret and melancholy. She turned to Pounce. Her eyes suddenly flared with hatred "Who is she!?" She hissed out. Her claws peeking out of her paws. "She's our new Broodmother." Pounce said. Calm as can be. Silks face dropped. Before she ran to pounce. Slapping him across the face. "YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD JUST REPLACE HER!?" Pounce stood still for a moment. "Silk. No one can replace Rain. We both know this. But we have to move on. We don't have enough Broodmothers to care for our whole clan." Silk stared at pounce. She let out a hiss before stalking back to the Broodmothers den. Pounce walked over to Mist. "You'll have to excuse her. She's still grieving." "...I understand."

Mist was sold by her old leader after she gave birth to a piebald cub. She was furious until Snuggles brought her home. Silk immediately attacked her out of grief. She gained a small scar after it. She went on to be trained by Pumpkin Pie. Who assured her it wasn't her fault. She has a soft spot for cubs and is very protective of them. After Starbursts death she felt awful for the pride. But once Silk started training Whisper she felt as though she finally understood what Silk was going through. She was willing to believe his word for no reason and even fight to keep him safe. She slightly admired her for that.
