Hyena Fang

Hyena Fang rolls on her back in front of your paws, inviting you for a gentle tussle.
Hyena Fang turns her back towards you, lifting her tail up high and twitching it a bit.
Hyena Fang greets you as you approach, and prones herself in front of you, nuzzling your paws.

Hyena Fang was raised by her mother, Painted Shadow, and her mate, Blooming Nightshade. Although she did spend some time with the broodmothers, her little family was very close-knit. Blooming Nightshade taught her how to be playful, sometimes a little too much so with her pranks, and Painted Shadow taught her to be friendly and tolerant of others.
Due to her strength and size as a primal lioness, she was chosen to be a defender for the pride. Her good nature and positive outlook on others made her quite likeable, and she took well to protecting her pride. She does miss sleeping in the same den as her family, but she adores spending time with them when they aren't busy with their differing duties.
When she was almost 5 years old, Hyena Fang was shocked when High Priest-King Moonlit Dawn made her Head Defender of the pride. There were many who were older and more experienced than her, and there were many young defenders in training that needed closely watched. She was honored to take the position though, and she is happy to take feedback and get help from older defenders.
