Shaain

Shaain got stolen from her pride by a large clan of hyenas when she was still a tiny cub. They raised her as one of their own, hoping to train her up to defend them against other lions when she's all grown up. When Rashan led an attack on the clan to drive them away from his lands, he found Shaain and took her in. At first she had problems to get accustomed to the new way of living, but she made a friend in Rhina soon after her arrival. It still sometimes felt a bit strange to her not to have to fight for her food, and to be allowed to sleep inside a cave, but she got used to it bit by bit.
After a while, Shaain found a few abandoned Hyena cubs when she was out hunting. She took them home and convinced Rashan to let her keep and raise them. She got an own cave a bit away from the main den for it, and raised the little cubs, training them to hunt for the pride and defend them against attackers. They know not to go too close to the main den though, as Katora doesn't differ between them and other hyenas, and would kill them.
Over time, the five little cubs she found at first turned into a wholle pack, as they had her own young, with Shaain as their queen.
