*Learned the same night you can't use aging stones on deaf cubs, only aging crystals since BatEar had one. Only the gods of Lioden know if he gets to use an aging crystal down the road or if he stays a little cub like Delilah. *He sadly passed at 5m to ANOTHER leopard....... Sooo, I may add Tigers eye to him from time to time since he was taken too soon 3

He is named after the DnD character Sylas Briarwood from Critical Role's campaign 1, (although I named him to match Delilah after first watching Vox Machina,) I am now on episode 102 of campaign 1 and oh my, Delilah and him are more involved than I thought *11/12/24)

08/10/23 -- G2 Sylas the Deaf 047 -- was caught unaware by a stalking leopard, who quickly dispatched them. --- He was 5 months old 3 ANOTHER leopard dang it. Same day as BatEar as well.
01/06/24 After -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- was pushed into the mud by an elder sibling, Grandpaw Kaballa G3 was the first to pick them up and give them a bath. Even as -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 --, Grandpaw Kaballa G3 gives them some good advice on what to do next time.

02/12/24 Joined Eve and Jewels for an evening with Delilah ----- -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- prances about with their Grandpaw, head held high. Old Grandpaw Hollow Eve - G5 is telling everyone how great -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- is, and what a fantastic pride member they'll be when they grow up.
-- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- prances over to Grandpaw Hollow Eve - G5 with a small rat in their jaws. Grandpaw Hollow Eve - G5 proudly declares -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- the best hunter in the pride, and his absolute favourite grandcub.
Grandpaw Hollow Eve - G5 pulls -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- aside to berate them after they misbehaved. You catch bits and pieces of what he says, including "back in my day" and "my mother would have skinned me for that". Never change, old man.

-- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- follows after Grandpaw Ta'Kara - G5 as he goes out on a patrol. -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- spots an injured dik dik hiding in the bushes, and with a snarl, Grandpaw Ta'Kara - G5 orders -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- to kill it, saying that there is no room for mercy in this life.
When -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- starts playing a bit too rough, Grandpaw Ta'Kara - G5 harshly swipes at them, eyeing them ferociously. -- Sylas Rift the Deaf - G2 -- whimpers and flees, their tail hiding between their legs. Maybe Grandpaw Ta'Kara - G5 just doesn't like games?



Now to think of a name for this little guy ............. He's the youngest Deaf cub I've had as Delilah was already 7 months when she joined and BatEar's was 1y 9m old----- (08/08/23 - For now he will be named after Sylas Briarwood to match Delilah. Absolutely love the show and all the voice actors that make the campaigns happen <3)
*Side note to myself, he was born 13 months and 10 days after King Endor Rift first joined here during Tow's reign in 2022 o.O *09/05/23 Added rift to his name to honor my first mutated king, Endor Rift <3

You place the offering at your pridemember's resting place. It arises again and their decaying body turns into a moving, life-like vessel. How incredible it is to interact with them again! - Used same day as passing since Kaballa was more than prepared for the passing of both Deaf lions; just didn't both the same day :(
