From the moment she was born, she proved herself to be a polar opposite of her mother. Instead of the kind and polite cub Capella hoped to raise, Diphda turned out mischievous, rebellious, and rude. Time did not change her attitude, it only worsened it. Until Capella died one night due to a mysterious illness no one could explain. Afterward, Diphda's behavior switched to the opposite of who she used to be. Perhaps it was grief that affected her that way, or maybe she knows something other pride members don't.

Diphda is quite rebellious even now. She barely ever does what she's told unless under specific threat of punishment. She is stubborn and rarely ever shows a softer side which she does have. Only for certain lions though, she is cold and aggressive toward the rest.
