11/29 Poot was born of a lioness whom Riolo took no real liking to at first. Poot's mother stunk of "bad blood" according to Riolo, but copulated with her anyways, just for the thrill of it. However, the single cub born of that litter captured Riolo's heart in a death grip like no other. She had a velvety ebony coat, and a perfect bright pink little nose and toe beans. Riolo has never seen a cub as adorable as this one. And this cub was his own biological daughter! Most litters born from Riolo had a tendency to get into horrid trouble, not having much of a working survival instinct. This cub would be coddled and protected, though. Not one whisker would be harmed. Riolo babied her himself much of the time during her first weeks. Grooming her and cuddling her, giving her little gifts and toys to play with. Riolo called the little thing "Poot" as an endearing nickname, but unfortunately for the cub, it stuck and now "Poot" has become her true name.
