Since Autumn was a cub, she knew something was wrong. At first everything seemed normal - she was one of the
king's daughters, her mother was a beautiful huntress known as
Misty . Autumn's cubhood was perfect - her parents cared for her, she had many friends, she was strong and healthy, and as she grew up, she turned out to be pretty talented! But there was one thing... Her mother was... Weird. She was a good parent to her cub, but for some reason all their interactions were cold... They seemed normal, just a lioness and her cub, but it was different. When other mothers groomed their cubs, they did it with such precision and care, while Misty did it artificially. Her movements were stiff and awkward, and she always seemed to do it in a hurry. When she played with Autumn, she was cold and distant. While other mothers smiled fondly at their children, Misty looked at her daughter with fear.
Autumn had no idea why Misty was like this. She was a good cub, right? Did she do something wrong? Or maybe Misty just didn't know how to take care of a cub? But if that was the case, couldn't she ask broodmothers for help? Because of all that, Autumn grew up to be very insecure. She saw any word said in her direction as a mockery. Someone complimented her fighting skills? She lost this fight, it must have been sarcasm! Oh, did someone said that she looked nice today? Does that mean she looked bad on a daily basis?!
Thinking that everyone was constantly making fun of her, Autumn became mischievous herself. She criticized everyone for everything, the worst thing was that she was only defending herself in her opinion... She became very disliked by the pride. No one knew that in reality, under that "bully" mask, she was just a misunderstood, wronged cub who needed some love...
She was later invited to join The Star Hunters. The party's leader,
Blizzard, knew that Autumn was known as harsh and mean, but she didn't mind. She saw something good in everyone, and Autumn wasn't an exception.
There was only one more member in The Star Hunters -
Heather.
At first Autumn treated Blizzard and Heather as a burden. However, by spending time with them, Autumn began to open up, and at some point she noticed that she saw the other huntresses as friends. She still wasn't particularly effusive or affectionate towards them, but it was easy to see that they had a special place in her heart.
When
Ibis joined The Star Hunters, Autumn wasn't very happy. Their relationship started with Autumn attacking Ibis, so at first their interactions were pretty awkward.
Fortunately over time Autumn got used to Ibis. They never became friends, but they respected each other and were able to work together.
