- Born ;; 3.14.24 - Poacher Scars Recieved ;; 3.21.24 Old Paradise Cocktail spent a lot of her time as a cub around the nearby villages (the unabandoned ones, not the one closest to the pride held over by Genus Species), and the humans began to treat her just like a big fluffy cat. Of course, that's kind of what she is, but... she became accustomed to their care quickly. A woman named Imani and her son Mosi especially spent their time around Paradise (and they were her favorites). Imani was poor, and Paradise would bring some of the pride's leftover meat when she saw that the two humans were hungry. She was provided with human clothes to wrap around her legs as protection. Poachers ran rampant around this time, and as a still quite young cub Paradise was unlucky enough to almost get killed by some. The scars left by their machetes still cause her ghost pain. The poachers were fought off by some humans who recognized Old Paradise Cocktail's coloring, and they brought her to Imani's home since that's where she usually went during her days at the village. Imani, because of this incident and the fear she felt seeing her little big cat get hurt like this, eventually got a job as a ranger, and immediately she made sure that Paradise was taken care of. She put a radio tracking collar on the lioness so she could keep her safe. Old Paradise Cocktail becomes the new lead broodmother, with all of her experience keeping herself and Mosi (and even Imani sometimes) safe it only makes sense.
