Amina was a part of Spring's group along with her three sisters - Amne, Amana and Midnight and two unrelated lionesses, Gaia and Carnelia. Since they joined the pride, Amina, Amne and Amana became known for their rather nasty attitude. The thing was... Amina was nothing like her sisters. She put up with them because they were siblings and she felt somehow loyal to them, but she didn't feel good as a part of their group. They were always treated the same, as if they were one lion, not three separate beings. It wouldn't be a bad thing, only if Amina's sisters weren't as rude and disrespectful as they were. Amina got tired of it quickly. She didn't want to be judged for her sisters' actions. She decided to became her own person, but soon she found out that it wasn't that easy. She followed her sisters and did whatever they wanted for her whole life, she wasn't sure who she really wanted to be anymore. The way the pride viewed her also didn't help.
And so Amina decided to search for herself outside of pride. Well, kind of... Near The Den there was a garden where two lionesses lived - Sunshine and Snow Cap. They were part of the pride just like everyone else, but after doing their chores, they preferred to spend their free time in the garden instead of being surrounded by other lions. Amina decided to turn to them. They were always happy to have visitors, and Amina was no different. And since they didn't spend much time with the rest of the pride, they didn't know anything about her and her sisters. That meant that they also couldn't judge her.
Amina quickly formed a strong bond with them. She visited them every day, and after hours of conversations she slowly started to learn who she was and what she wanted from life. The rest of the pride still viewed her as just one of "The Sisters", but she tried her best to show them that she was nothing like her kin.
Unfortunately Sunshine and Snow Cap passed away. First Snow Cap, then Sunshine, and without them the garden became a dull, depressing place. Amina missed Sunshine and Snow Cap dearly, so in their memory she began taking care of the garden. Just like them, she ended up basically living there. She cherished every moment she spent in the garden, and loved when other lions visited her there.
