The lioness kept the pregnancy secret for as long as she could, while she loves her pride, they don't often enjoy the extra attention pregnancy brings. So Deimos was born in a rocky outcrop just outside of the territory, the sub-male Sosicles made a point to peak in on the pair to make sure they were safe. Melicu would spend warm evenings softly chatting to her son, telling him how handsome he was and how strong he would become. He did just that, a stunning adolescent and then adult with his light cream coat and starshine eyes. Suffering from an inability to sit still, the male is constantly moving, to the point of exhaustion should he be left on his own for too long. Deimos explains that it is easier for him to fall asleep after a long day, otherwise, he tosses and turns for hours at a time, trying to get his body to settle. Sometimes this works in his favour when cubs are struggling to sleep, they can stay up with him, Deimos keeping the cub warm between his paws as they talk until the cub can't keep their eyes open anymore. Is attracted to other males, and hasn't found the one just yet but is happy for the moment helping with the protection of the pride.
