LORE:
Cyrus was turning from side to side nervously, shaking their head so exaggeratedly that it seemed as if the flower in their mane was going to fly away. "No, no, no... Mei, Benchara is too small, she is still a cub, she can't go on such a dangerous journey alone."
Mei's icy gaze silenced the mane and they sat on the floor with frustration and concern. Then Mei spoke "The girl is mature and old enough to make decisions for herself, I was younger than her when I came to this pride. Besides, her grandfather was a wild male, it's in her blood, she's strong, she'll be fine."
Cyrus was not happy, but there was no point in arguing with Mei, even though they knew she also cared about Benchara, she did it in her own cold and distant way. The mane thought about talking to Benchara in person and approached the cave where the cub used to hide when she wanted to be alone. They looked in, but there was only one note, she had run away, she said that she wanted to live alone.
Cyrus shook their head again, "When will he learn that we lions don't live alone?" And they sighed and turned around to return to the pride "I hope she's okay, that Achman protects her, or Guayota if he doesn't."

Diary entry: After running away from her homepride, Benchara found herself leaving the biome she once lived and wandering through the bare, dusty landscapes behind it. No life seemed to flourish here, and dust seemed to be the only thing making even the lightest of efforts to bring interest to this particular part of the territories.
"Another one?! Well will his majesty start putting interest into his borders..?"
Benchara shot her head upwards. There, standing upon a tall, ragged cliff, stood a dark-colored lion with piercing eyes that seemed to stab through Benchara's own. The lion jumped the seemingly incredibly high drop and leapt towards Benchara, landing immediately at her feet. He slowly rose to his paws, but that was when Benchara started to relax. This lion didn't look any higher than adolescent, and definitely didn't look like he wanted to cause her any harm, much less even distress. Nonetheless, Benchara curiously questioned; "Who are you?"
The lion responded with a dark but welcoming tone; "I am ꃳ꒒ꋬꉔꀘꏂꋊꏂ꒯ ꇙꄲ꒤꒒, the heir to the lands you and I currently grace. Say, you must be tired. Follow me, and I shall show you where you shall stay until your time here is up." Cautious but eager to visit her first pride, Benchara nodded and trailed behind ꃳ꒒ꋬꉔꀘꏂꋊꏂ꒯ ꇙꄲ꒤꒒ as he walked away from her.
After what felt like hours, Benchara finally caught sight of a dusty cave in the leafless trees ahead of her. She stumbled in front of ꃳ꒒ꋬꉔꀘꏂꋊꏂ꒯ ꇙꄲ꒤꒒ and stared into the cave. Inside, more travellers awaited her, all of them immediately staring at her once they realized her size..or more..her age.
"That's a traveller?..." one whispered.
"She's younger than me!" another one blirted.
Benchara growled at the remarks, feeling underappreciated. She lay in an empty rock beside a tobiano lioness named blackberries and cream.
"Don't worry about them." she started. "Their jealous they didn't start exploring at your age."
Benchara glanced up at blackberries and cream and started to question her curiously. "How many adventures have you been on?"
blackberries and cream chuckled at the question. "Oh, goodness knows. Little old me doesn't have memory many others do. But you, young lass, look like you can have far bigger adventures than any of us."
Benchara widened her eyes. "Wha- really?!"
"Really." blackberries and cream remarked. She shuffled closer to Benchara and started chatting to her about her best adventures. And here, dear reader, is where Benchara's adventures begin.

Diary entry: Benchara arrived on the outskirts of Rubble's territory. She had heard incredible legends about the might of Rubble and his pride, and was wondering if he might become her new King.
She bounded across the rapids with joyous yips, announcing her prescence. Warily, Rubble and his two submales approached her, the rest of the pride pushed far back into the cave.
"Hello!" She allowed the males to sniff her, showing that she meant no harm.
Rubble growled at her. "Begone, wanderer! We have already played host to one Wandering Lioness - and what happened there!"
With a heavy heart, Benchara left the territory. She supposed that the old saying was true - never meet your heroes.

Diary entry:
Benchara carefully padded through increasingly cold grass, looking about her at the tall trees and silent bushes. Not a sound except her own paws echoed through this silent graveyard of a forest. Not a sound, that is, until she saw a misty shadow appear among the brush.
A dark lioness with glinting gold claws stood before her, staring as though she shouldn't be there.
"Hi..." Benchara ventured. The lioness stood still, her yellow eyes slowly blinking. "Sorry, i must have intruded-"
The lioness finally spoke. Her voice was gravelly and grating. "No. My apologies. We do not get many... travellers here."
Benchara perked up. Maybe this lioness was only intimidating on the outside.
The lioness stalked toward her, head low and predatory. Benchara cowered.
"I do not like meeting newcomers. They always cause a fuss. There are rules here, you must realise."
Benchara nodded, still cowering among the spiky ferns and dry brush.
"Good." The lioness stretched back up to her full height, and Benchara took a shaky breath. "My name is Coalstar. This is Sandstorm, Echofire, Peppercrow and Spiritwing."
The lionesses began to appear as if out of thin air on Coalstars command, forming beautiful colours in the shadows.
"Come, rest, you must be tired."
Benchara gulped as the four lionesses surrounded her slowly, nudging her forwards with their presence. Guiding her onwards towards Coalstar. Had she made a grave mistake?
