Star had one cub (Who's?), while Speckled Berry had two. It was uncomfortable, hunting with two tiny lives within, and she wondered how Star hid it so well. Star was closer to term then Speckled Berry was. Certainly a mystery, that lioness. Speckled Berry faintly wondered if anyone would care that she'd curled up with the king of another pride. Star didn't seem to care, and had likely done the same. After all, Rain's Light was... off.
