Peach Tree

Peach Tree tilts her head as she watches the other lionesses. She was going to be joining them soon, on a proper hunt. She couldn't wait! She'd made it! She pauses, mind going to the many cubs who would never make it, the cubs who were torn apart like prey and left for the scavengers of the jungle. Some adult lionesses had been there too, as well as a male lion the others had called "Moon." It had been quite a shock to find many bones, big and small, though mostly small, scattered through the clearing, as well as the half-eaten carcass of the scarred black lion that had wandered off that day. She shook her head. Now wasn't the time to think about that.

Peach Tree stayed quiet, not saying a word. Nobody needed to know that she had curled up with another king, after all. So she stayed quiet, kept hunting alongide the other lionesses. She would eventually make a nest, yes, as she could feel the little lives within, but she would do that when it was much closer to her date.
